View Full Version : Second try with hoses and sealed containers to measure output

Here is a video of latest setup. Found a stainless steel container at walmart, and thought of putting the whole container as the positive electrode. Put a galvanized steel negative electrode in the middle kept from touching the sides. Used a mix of 10 parts epsom salts and 2 parts baking soda (created quite a messy soup, when we added the baking soda).

We got quite a lot of production, couldnt inflate balloon since we had some weak points in the setup and some places that leaked when it was pressurized. Will seal it off better before next time.

Still though, not bad at all for the second time trying.

might have a problem with the case being one of the electrodes? shorting out ?

Should be fine as long as the case is the same polarity as the vehicle frame
