I recently hooked up a HHO Gen (+nnnnn-nnnnn+) & 400hz 30amp pwm to my `99 F-150 with a 4 .6L and 5spd @ 15mpg to the air intake only. I started at 5 amps and around .25-.3 lpm. I lost 1.5 mpg but this may be because I recently reset the comp. I turned it up to 10amps @ about .5 lpm and I just got a 2 mpg gain to 17 mpg. I just upped it agin to 15 amps .6-.75 lpm and I will report the outcome. I haven't altered and senors yet. I would like to see what my gains are before changing any thing and I'm also scared to cook something. If I made changes to any sensors I wouldn't know if it's from the HHO or the sensor mod. The next thing I try after 15 amps will be 20 amps @ 1. lpm and then I want to try a "T" in the vacum. Any suggestions on what vacum to try (i.e PCV) and what sensors to mod. I have a MAF(no MAP), 2 O2's, IAT, CTS, and CHT sensor just to name a few.

I have a 99 f250 5.4 and recently installed a smack design unit producing .8 lpm at 18 amps. I saw a quick jump in mpg to 19 from 12 but over time it dropped back to my initial 12.5 mpg. I have tried o2 extenders but all they did was cause cel. I have removed them and am now installing a digital efie i got off ebay to combat the computer and its smart brain.

Keep me posted on how this works out for you.

I own an 01 F150 5.4L, and have not yet hooked up a gen to it. I am interested in your results.

Any results yet?
I have a 97 f150 4.6 v8.
I tried a Smack and lost 1 mpg
I tried an EFIE by itself and gained 2.5 mpg, so this told me it was wired correctly.
I tried the Smack with the EFIE and lost 1 mpg
I tried a dry cell putting out about 3 times the Smack and the EFIE and lost 2 mpg
Now I turned off the EFIE and am trying the dry cell only, to see what 2.7 lpm does.

Looks like the f150 is a hard nut to crack. Not as easy as the Jap cars.
