I have a new van (new to me) to install HHO on. It is a 1994 Mercury Villager(same van as Nissan Quest). I will be putting a EGT alarm gauge on the van also before i put the HHO on. I'm not to familiar with OBD stuff. I assume this has a OBD I because its a 94.

I was thinking all i need is a O2 EFIE to lean out the van or
Could this van possible need a map enhancer also, or something else?
Is it true that the timing on this van is 100% by distributor position?

I'm Kind of partial to this digital O2 EFIE any opinions on it?

I was looking at that one too.
It looks cool and has some nice features, such as the ramping up of the signal voltage. Plus the fact that it is digital is also a good idea from what I have read.

I have desided to go with a DFS1 chip instead of using an EFIE and MAF/MAP enhancer. Just waiting for it to show up in the mail.

A guys on another forum are getting good results with them.

What forum is it that are they seeing results at?

Im thinking about that chip for my 01 GMC Savanna 3500 box van. The question i had with the chips is dont they advance the ignition timing? (which would be counter productive to HHO boosting)

those chips dont seem to be available for all vehicals. and since this van is a 94 OBDI (i think) the chip mod is not an option.
