The idea of a pulse waveform module is to prevent thermal runway. It can also be done by limiting the current. I made a current limiter that uses the non linear resistance of car headlight bulbs. I soldered red wires to the common pins of 4 headlight bulbs. Then i soldered black wires to the remaining 8 pins. All the red wires are connected to an input line and all the black wires are conneced to an output lead. The resulting resistor drops 3 volts at 20 amps but the resistance increases if more current is drawn. I am using it with 4 cells in series. My experence with this is limited. More will come later.

I'm having a really hard time picturing this. Can you draw up some crude schematics of this (windows paint works well for this)?

Here is a sketch. ( I use appleworks)

Also i changed the pictures on my website.

cool, seems like a nice simple way to do the job. I'd like to know details of testing (as tests progress). It seems like it would work like a beefy pot (which have greater losses than PWM, which is why PWM are used)
