I had an old programmable dyno chip laying around and decided to throw out my EFIE and have it installed. It took a while to explain to the mechanic what i needed it to do but they where very helpful and it only costed about $150 to have the chip installed, and programmed and fine tuned on a dyno. Was able to get my timing modified slightly to compensate for the difference in the rate of expansion between HHO and Gasoline. So far great only problem is that it is not tunable while you are going down the road which i had an issue with a cell failure(in another post in general discussion). This caused my car to run extremely lean when HHO production stopped causing stall outs and ECU over callibration, and the worst of all cylinder detonation.

Flash chips are an option and deffinately made a drastic difference in bringing out the potential of HHO fuels but also lead to some issue.
