I'm using a setup that goes like this: #1- KOH catalyst solution tank - (US plastics 1 Qt.) w/ three taps (two in the top because there is a place to tap the holes), one on the bottom which is 1/4" hose barb. I use the 1/4" for the return line to the bottom of the generator. On the top I use 1/4" NPT x 3/8" hose barb fitting with a 316 ss tube to about a 1/2" off the bottom. This is the generator feed line.
The gas outlet is also 1/4" NPT x 3/8" hose barb. The tank is filled to 3/4 full and it acts as a pre bubbler.
#2- The Bubbler - As Most know that handle caustics, that vinegar is a neutralizer so I fill my PVC Bubbler with a 50/50 mix or straight which should neutralize any cataylst mist that escapes the Pre Bubbler/ KOH tank.
the vinegar is about 2x the price as distilled water.
This seems to work for me so far as I have been only running this setup for a couple of months with no ill effects. A friend of mine once told me "keep it simple".
