just found this forum, intrigued and yet scepticle...been reading for a while before I put my foot in my mouth, so here goes, what are the realistic claims you guys are acheiving with your HHO generators? I'm a machinist and a welder and want to build one, just don't know which direction to follow...thanks,cameron.

Good question.

My suggestion is to view http://www.youtube.com/user/ZeroFossilFuel videos on Youtube.

Not only did Zero make 125 videos in which he meticulously explains everything he does, he is most honest.

For example see video 125 in which zero explains the bugs in his Current controlled PWM. He shows everything, warts included.

His car went from 16 to 18 mpg.

You can believe me, he really tries hard.

Here's another thing that I do.

I write the Hydroxy video maker and ask a simple question:

MPG before/after?

This answer came in today: "No change. Need to tweak the O2 Sensors."

This after a year of testing.

I believe that 10-15% is doable with work.

I also believe that 30-50% is Bull!

I'll help you all I can by steering you in the right direction.

P.S. I built my own portable DC welder and I understand you buddy.

beware of the advice you get from Boyntonstu. Check out this thread. http://www.hhoforums.com/showthread.php?t=698
And I've improved my mpg for 13 to 18, it will improve more when I add another generator.

I improved mine from 17 to 24mpg. I cant make assumptions about how your vehicle will respond to hydroxy. It seems some vehicles respond better than others.

I received this report last night from a serious experimenter:

Video # 12 : 3" x 2" Plate Cell Mileage Results
Not what I expected. Pretty much the same as the vehicle is rated. No increase that I can see. More work needed...

Watch videos on Youtube and you can learn a lot about actual results and claims of results.

When you build your unit might I suggest the following MPG test?

Can you think of why folks seem afraid to “waste” 20 minutes doing this test?

In 20 minutes I can tell the mpg of any car equipped with a mpg gauge and cruise control.

Get on a highway that is level and over 20 miles long.

Set your cruise control to 60, reset the mpg gauge, and/or record the mileage .

Travel 10 miles at 60 mph STOCK and record your mpg.

Now turn on your HHO, your efie, your O2 and repeat.

With 20 minutes you will KNOW!

Go another 10 miles STOCK and you will confirm.

I would LOVE to see videos of this test.

I don't have the fancy lil' computer that tells me how many miles I get :p

I just fill'er up and go!!:D

94 Eclipse on full tank got 350 miles.

After installed an HHO generator, it went over 500 miles.

I figured before 25mpg now 40mpg.....

I think I can do better... shooting for 50+mpg :)

ONLINE CONVERSION.COM for fast and accurate conversions.

43 km/ltr = 101.14 MPG

So yeah,

It can even go higher than that, but there may be minor engine adjustments necessary.

Okay.

42 km/ltr = 98.79 mpg. If garage experimenters can do this just imagine: FORD, GM or CHRYSLER could get it up to 150 to 200 MPG.

Big Auto could probably get it up (no pun intended) to 150 to 200 MPG, you'd think.

here's my malaysian counterpart design.....
