Hi, Guys!
I'm new on the forum. I have read here a few topics about electronic systems used with hho to „cheat” an engine and now I'm really impressed about it.
I decided to install a chip in my car and thus I would like to ask you some questions to know more details about this issue.

I found some shops and products on the internet:
http://voloperformance.com/fs2hhoedition.html
http://www.hhokitsdirect.com/mileage-chip-for-hho-generator.php
http://www.hho-plus.com/product.php?id_product=16

1. What are your opinions about those chips? Why do Volo chips exist in several different versions?

I'm afraid that this huge discount of Volo chips and their programming software could be due to their old technology. Am I right? What are the differences beetween Volo chips offered here:

http://www.hho-plus.com/product.php?id_product=16 (this from the second link)

2. Which company produce the most technology-advanced chips?

I have heard that new models of chips (such as HEC) are faster. It is said that they save much more fuel than the older ones.
3. Is there any visible difference in quantity in economized fuel?
4. Does the new chip provide better safety for our engine than the older one?
5.What are the other benefits?
6. Are there any differences between methods of measuring parameters of the air, fuel and fumes?
7. How to compare two chips of two diffrent producers, on what should I pay attention while choosing the chip?

On the market we can also find Ogo chips, there are three different models:
http://www.ogohho.com/index.php/product-98-HHO+System+Dynamic+Chip+OGO-HC12+HHO+Enhancer.html

http://www.ogohho.com/index.php/product-99-Saving+Fuel+Dynamic+Chip+OGO-HC12+Fuel+Saver.html

http://www.ogohho.com/index.php/product-100-High+Performance+Dynamic+Chip+OGO-HC12+MAP+Inspirer.html

8. Where we can use each type of them? What is your opinion about them?

I'm also intrested in programing chips. I found this aplication:
http://voloperformance.com/volodp.html

9.Is there any other producer of chips who also gives possibility of programming them?
10.Can you recommend me companies which give that possibility? The other
required feature is database of cars which is updated and well-developed by the producer.

I don't know exacly what are the most common ports used in ECU.

11. The most popular type of port of ECU is OBD 2, right?
12. Is there any other version of that connection?
13. Is it availible to connect one type of chip to every type of car computer? Does it depend on ports used in ECU?

I'm sure that you can resolve my doubts. Please, help me with these issues.
I speak English as a foreign language, so please make allowances for me.

Regards, Jacob

What do you drive?

I would like to install HHO system in:

Opel Vectra 2.0 1997
Nissan Micra 1.0 1998
Toyota Yaris 1.4 2002
Zuzuki Jimmy 1.4 2006

All of them have ECU.

The most important thing is to find a chip compatible with all of the vehices on the european market. So should I look for one type of a chip or a few of them?

In the near future I will be making HHO sets for many different cars, so I need general opinion, and your recommendation.

The price is also an important factor, because I would like to buy them in huge quantity.

Those are mostly OBD2 systems.
Have you looked into EFI-live or HP-tuner tuning software?
I would call them and see what capability they have with your models.

Forgive me for bypassing the option of "chip", because that's not a sure or correct way to go about manipulating a tune in order for you to get the success that you want with your projects.

Another option with some vehicles is to do an ECM swap to an older style GM (Chevy) computer that is fully hacked with free software and datalogging software (tunerpro). Burning your own chips for the older ECM is relatively simple and inexpensive.
Doing the conversion to the older ECM is the trick because of integrating the ignition systems together as newer vehicles don't have distributors.

Personally I just don't trust mail-order chips in general, and they usually prove to be problematic if not ineffective.

If you're doing this on a tight budget and have no interest in chip burning or ECM swaps, then I suggest getting the proper EFIE for your vehicles and work with them.

The O2 sensor output is the final say for the PCM's adaptive fueling algorithm, so it is not so likely you could get better results by using a chip, short of a complete retune using one of the tuning software packages.
