Hello all!

I'm looking to see if anyone has put an HHO generator on one of these vehicles. I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7L V8.

I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have no O2 or EFI sensor fixes on it. I went from 16mpg to 24mpg using a modified Powertube-style kit as seen on YouTube. There's a box over the fuel injector, and that's where I've drilled a hole and stuffed that HHO gas in. I'm wondering if I should be messing with my sensors or would that cause other problems?

Well to go from 16 to 24, I'd say you've pretty much nailed it! Congrats! Would you be willing to post the details of your generator?

Which engine do you have in your 04?

I'm having no luck with my Jeep with the hemi.
Feeding 2.3 lpm into the throttle body...no change in mileage.
Anybody's advice is welcome...

Average 15 mpg city, 19 mpg highway - plenty of room for improvement.

Did your mpg go down after HHO or stay the same?

It actually went down a little. With MAP and EFIE I could get it back up to original mileage. If I tried to get further gains with MAP and EFIE my engine light would come on.

You have got to use a device to adjust the O2 sensor. mine wouldn't go until i got one.

And what model of Cherokee do you have, and what is your current gas mileage with your new setup?

2.3 LPM?? That is a lot of HHO! Have you tried starting with lower amounts and adjusting upwards?

Got the generator hooked up to my 2000 GC. No noticeable difference yet. I'm really wondering if I'm going to have to mod stuff. I really didn't want to.

Hey guys im from down under, and own a 2002 grand cherokee. I will be adding a generator soon, and have purchaed a ob2 2 reader which will connect up via bluetooth to my laptop so I can see whats going on. I am looking for a place to collaborate any info that I have learned with others. I would like to make a unit that uses resonance and a coil but for now I think I will start off with a simple design. Can anyone let me know what sort of unit they are running on their 4.7 motor? I would love to get a starting point recommendation.

thanks, J
