Source for electrolyte pumps

Does anyone here know of a good source for 12v low psi E-lyte pumps that can withstand the harshness of KOH e-lyte?????

I hope some will see this seeing as the religious deathmatch in general discussions has most the forums attention.

Check out Shurflo's diaphragm pumps. They are popular for use with electrolyte.

I agree about the off the topic discussion. It is making my head hurt. I have a 12 volt 2 gpm pump that has all plastic internal parts and has held up well. I bought it at West Marine. The brand name is Sureflow. It works great.

Thanks Larry and Russ,there's a West Marine here where I live.

Larry do you regulate the flow of your pump for optimum level or do you just let it run open?

I just let it run open. With no pressure it only draws 2.5 amps.

I have about 10 hours of bench testing on a Jabsco 42510-0000 pump with no ill effects. 12v, 1.6a designed for boat galley faucets and cheaper than the Shur-flo. Also available from West Marine. I tried a generic windshield washer pump. It worked well for about 45 minutes then it smoked. Whatever pump you get, it must be rated for continuous duty.

Thanks RR100 I googled the same pump and found one at www.wholesalemarine.com for $35.82 shipped,West marine wanted $36.99 + tax.
