Sunpro 0-60 amp meters

I've got 4 brand new in the package Sunpro 0-60 DC amp meters. $7.50 plus shipping ( box and United States Post Office postage ) from 32421

Hi there.
Do these conect directly to the wire that is measuring the current?
Or do these gauges need a current coil?

If they are straight hook up I'm interested.

They go between the positive battery lead and the load. I've hooked mine up like this. Using 10 gauge wire on the + battery on to a fuse and to the meter to the positive on the generator.
