Formula for how many neutral plates to use?
Can someone point me to the formula for how many neutral plates I should have between charged plates for a SS 21 plate dry cell? My plates are approximately 8” x 8”. However, my gaskets are pretty thick so excluding that area I end up with a usable surface area of about 6.5” x6.5”. I recall reading somewhere that you should get down to about 2v for each plate or something like that… It has been a while if someone could point me to that calculation I would appreciate it…
