I order some real pure KOH 99%+ PA lab grade quality, but it was quait expensive 1kg * 4 = 4kg for 180$ (calculated from SEK) to me and some friends..

I have test run the cell both ways so I think I have burn it stuck in both polarity... I will put them i acid for a week or so and clean them up, then build a simpel wetcell that i can test...

Yes, understand.. my drycell is 5N whit 2,7v per cell so small amount moist will still by there. I think small amount of moist is only good for the combustion, water injection effect..
