Hi, No I'm not... Thought about it, but not with-it enough to actually build one. :) If a kit actually comes out for a wrx with engine management I would probably try it out.
I don't know at what temp HHO would ignite but the turbo out temps can easily get to be around 122*C/252*F or hotter...
I use this on my car... http://scangauge.com/ Works great, and very acuurate when set up to your car.
Oops, I thought this was about Acetone. :)
It's 1 1/2 oz.. not bottles. And you should be able to buy a gallon for around 20$ or less.
Well I find it worth it for sure. For 35 cents/tank of gas I get another 50 Kms/30+ miles per tank. :)
Last year I filled up 73 tanks/year = $25.55 for Acetone for which I drove an EXTRA 3,650...
I think it's Toluene, Xylene, Methanol, Ethanol, Isopropyl Alcohol, Tertiary Butyl Alcohol and MTBE that's added as an octane booster.
60L/15.78 US gallons. I put in 1 1/2 oz. of acetone per tank. Different gas/engine set ups may need different ratios to work.
Never, no problems whatsoever. Think about it 1 1/2 oz. in 15.5 gallons of gas won't make it that much more corrosive than it already is... My car now has 289,500KMs/181,000Miles, still stock...
I have been putting Acetone in my gas tank for 3+ years experimenting how much works the best, and came to the conclusion that 1 1/2 oz per tank works the best on my car (a WRX impreza). Here are my...
$4.99 sounds good to me too. :) here in Canada, in BC where I live it's $1.48/L = $5.62/US gallon, for premium it's $ 1.63L = $6.19/US gallon. :(
As I think I understand it. :) the increase in energy comes from using the faster detonation of the fuel to push down the piston as it is already starting to go down and not as it is still going up....
You could be right... :) My thought about the HHO is that it would ignite, just like the diesel would when injected...
I am going to stick my nose into this, even tho I have zero computer knowledge...If there actually was no fuel being injected there would be MAJOR engine braking like in the big rigs so even tho it...
No, I just found out about this HHO thing and decided to join. I was/am using Acetone as a gas mileage improver which works too, but I am intrigued with the HHO so I am here to learn...
EDIT; And...
I have had my ScanGauge for 3 1/2 years now and can say without a doubt that it is accurate and precise. Once you set it up with the info that conforms with your vehicle and + - % of how much actual...
