Well that is what I thought but when I turned the ref voltage down my mpg tanked and when I turned it up it came back. The old Camry done went to retirement so I'll find something else to experiment...
That is the kind of Map adjuster I built. It does make a big difference on my 94 Camry. I had mine adjusted up to 6v and got a ck engine light. I turned it down to 5.5 to 5.65 and the light stayed...
The next thing you'll need to find out is does all your electronics work. When we were rebuilding those carbs we would disable the controls because they worked so unefficient.
If I'm correct your Jeep also has an o2 sensor. I think this is the wiring diagram for your Jeep.
Unless I missed it somewhere(probably) what is your lpm production?
Smaller diesel would be much easier install with no electronics to contend with. You just have to work around the underhood lack of room. I was going to install in my 240d but wife wrecked it.
Probably be better to ask some of those guys on fuelsaver forum.

Anyone know if vinegar will freeze?
Be sure when you get your cell thawed out to check and make sure it didn't bend and short out your plates when it froze.
I tried some zinc coated bolts and they turned a gray corrosion color. Zinc is used in boating as a sacrificial anodes. So they corrode under galvanic/electrolysis exposure.
Aluminum is consumed...
Why would you have 2 different sets of valves? Do you have it hooked to manifold vacuum?
The shower pan gaskets are pvc and someone posted that they degrade at 140*f. What size are your inlet and outlet holes in your plates?
If you add more neutrals to get the volts per cell down that will cut your heat down. A setup of +nnnn- or +nnnnn- will work best. You will have to adjust your catalyst amount after you change...
That's a really good looking cell Russ. Can't wait to hear the numbers on it. How long are you going to let it run at low amps?
Need to know what kind of electrolite you are using and what kind of ss.
Koh has a ph of 14 and Naoh has a ph of 13. What is the ph of magnesium hydroxide? That would also tell you how strong of a base it would be compared to the others.
It will work the same on a gas engine with a carb(w/out jet changes), You won't need to push the acc. as hard to do the same amount of work. That is the short version.
What is your setup(how many plates and neutrals)?
Here is a link to a small cell that separates h from the o. It is used in a small toy car. While small if you could incorporate its positive attributes into a larger unit.

I have 4 dry cells 3 with 304ss and one with 302. None of them have ever had any bloom form in them. I run a 5n setup so the voltage per plate is lower. Maybe the 5 neutrals is the reason I haven't...
Here is how fast things can go wrong: http://www.fuelsaver-mpg.com/fuel-saver/showthread.php?tid=2602
If someone had a bottle of hydrogen and hooked it to their vehicle. Metered the flow of hydrogen that would put the whole h separate from o to rest. I would think you would only need about...
I built a 3 cell series just to play with separating h and o. In the process of assembling the housing I broke it(acrylic). I did manage to save my separator plates. I have a pic(not a good one). It...
Diesels do not produce vacuum. Most install the gas hose pre or post filter before the turbo(if equipped). Also most diesel setups want as much hho gas you can produce.
