Thanks for the reply. Glad someone found this to be helpful.
Came across this today: http://www.amazon.com/Beautyforall-Adjustable-Voltage-Regulator-Supply/dp/B00L19IFDI
I have a similar unit without LED meter. It has been very helpful with my benchtop...
Following up here: Inconel 625 is on it's way to the 3D printer world (link: http://www.tctmagazine.com/additive-manufacturing/inconel-alloy-625-exones-newest-metal-3d-printing-material/)
Inconel...
Measure the voltage at the power supply then measure it at the terminals on the reactor.
If they are within 0.5V then proceed to measuring the voltage at the plates.
If that checks out within...
Your materials will have to change. Stainless that you use for HHO will not work and will end up rusting. Nichrome or nickel 200/201 is the material of choice and is very expensive by comparison.
I have used CaOH to help harden the water and prevent foaming, but it is a weak electrolyte and only a small amount will dissolve in water. I am interested in mg.
24 MPG is pretty crazy range for a 350 IMO. I'm hoping to get to 15-17 MPG on my carb'd Goodwrench 350, LOL!
This is overkill for older classic vehicles, but here is my project:

HHO burns extremely quickly, so you will not be able to push the gas out of a pinhole jet "faster than it can burn" as you stated.
That is a good start, but you will need some sort of flash...
Manual adjustment? No
Constant Current? No
Dynamic duty cycle/frequency control based external sensor input or OBD data from the computer? Yes
That depends on what you are trying to...
I have been watching this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/140741163209?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

There is no benefit from dynamically controlling the frequency (as far as I can tell) and I'm not a believer of this "magic resonance" that some speak of, but there is plenty of benefit from...
No, I don't use a gate driver. Not yet..

According to what I've read, rail voltage is basically the voltage read at the filtering or stiffening cap(s) connected to the source pin and +. In this case it would be ~14VDC.
This document is...
So, I bought one of these units a couple of years ago back when he his own site: http://us103264361.fm.alibaba.com/product/104189966-100782426/HHOG_II_Hammer_EX_HHO_Hydroxy_Flashback_Arrestor.html

I use 3 of the FQP30N06L MOSFETS in parallel at the moment with the unit I have installed and have tested up to 20 amps @ 14.5VDC with little to no heat using a small 45mm cubed heat sink and same...
Here is where I will explain the how: http://www.hhoforums.com/entry.php?5-Recreate-the-Arduino-Powered-PWM
So, I'm just going to port the blog entry over to this account to help spread the idea/word. Here is the link on these forums: http://www.hhoforums.com/entry.php?4-Arduino-Controlled-PWM
I've already done this successfully: /entry.php?4-Arduino-Controlled-PWM&bt=7. This was being hosted over at hodinfo.com, but I think I'm going to have to copy it over where I wish to share it.
Nice build goal! Most ppl use a PWM to prevent thermal run-away. Some others like myself use it for controlling the optimum frequency and duty cycle for the given reactor. You certainly could use a...
To follow up on this, this morning it is 24*F in the trunk and my bubbler (water only) is frozen solid :(
I was lazy and didn't add anything to it, so that's my fault.
My reactor, however,...
Man, that system sold CHEAP. I build all my systems from scratch and don't sell, but even if this one wasn't super it would still be a monstrous deal and pretty easily reconfigured if you so desired...
For the bubbler:
I have used methanol in the past as well as rubbing alcohol. Salt supposedly works too but I've yet to try it. http://www.ehow.com/how_6969578_add-water-lower-freezing-point.html...
KOH does tend to foam a tiny bit more than NaOH does. Both can be a bit annoying at times (like right now for me). I've taken to cleaning every square inch of all the things in my system and still...
I found some time to get this completed (minus the display). I have successfully retrofitted the PWM to the throttle signal plus mapped RPM and engine load. Lots of other things I could map it to as...
I couldn't agree more. It used to be ~$650 IIRC
