    Proportions

I have been experimenting with different concentrations of electrolite.

I want to know how much electrolyte you guys are using per gallon. Whether it is Bakinng Soda, KOH, or NaOH

Here we use grams per liter of KOH per distilled water. It's easy since they're similar units of measure.

The concentration depends on your specific cell design, and how you want it to perform. Spacing, area and number of plates are 3 varibles you have to figure out for your design for example.

Start with 2 grams per liter and see how it works for you, then adjust from there.

thanks for the help. I will try to start using those units of measure. Although, it is hard to find metric proportions in american groceries.

Some of these old books are prescribing 10%

ratio of electrolyte to Distilled water. I may give it a shot. http://ia341006.us.archive.org/1/ite...00teedrich.pdf
