    Heat Shrink Tubing In Electrolizer

    I have a stainless steel strap that connects two outer positives together in a mummy cell .I am wanting to put a Polyoleon Heat Shrinking tube over it to stop any current jump or extra heat in canister.Will this stuff hold up submerged in electrolizer ..I have some marine goop I could coat it with as I heard it will last ...

    I've used heat shrink on electrodes submersed in electrolyte with good results.

    I've been running mine for three months with heat shrink tubing in it and I just took it apart Friday and it was fine.
