    circuit breaker

50 Amp circuit breaker. No need for buying numerous fuses as they blow.

    Hi sumdude,

A 50 amp CB "might" be allright but ....... your alternator output is also just as important and maybe this is'nt a fit all application. Some cars only have a 80 amp alternator for all the factory electrical devices in the vehicle. A 30 amp CB may be more reasonable ??

    Regards,
    Fuzzy

I agree with Fuzzy, a 30 amp circuit breaker might be the better choice.

Pulling 40-50 amps for any amount of time would wreak havoc on most alternators.
