Magnetic alignment of electrodes?

This is a new one on me.

Was reading through the free-energy pdf at:

...scroll down to page 10-87 and start from the last paragraph on that page, reading over to the first part of the next page.

Apparently, another important step in conditioning plates is to ensure that they are magnetically aligned.

I just looked at doing this with some copper wire, but it seemed as though the wire wasn't shorting out all of the plates, so I tried aluminum foil and it works great. Just made a long string and wrapped it around the cell then left a piece sticking out for connection to the positive. Finally, I just took the negative and tapped away a few times. About 30 times or so. I'm not sure this was enough. Anyway, I then proceeded to place my cell into my electrolyte which is the typical 1 Gallon / 1tsp NaOH concentrate.

Careful with the foil if you use it. Sticks pretty easy when tapping if you are not careful.

Just off the top of my head, which ain't all that great this morning, I think the aluminum will react to the NaOH making a gas of it's own without electricity.
