    The EFIE you purchased will work for your o2 sensors. They are narrowband sensors. Usually the signal wire for GM is purple. Test for voltage between
    .1 - 1 volt engine hot and running. Voltage will constantly fluctuate up and down.

    not to steel your post but i have a question, what happens if i was to put a .45v to my ecu threw the o2 wouldent the ecu see this as perfect mix and not try to ajust?

    As I understand it, the ECU is expecting to see a constantly changing signal from the O2 sensor, swinging above and below .45 volts. It would interpret a steady .45 volts as an error and assume the sensor has failed.

    what if i dont cut the o2 i simply add in a .45 volt so it will still fluxuate but wont dip below .45
