    inlet/outlet on dry cell

    Hi all.

I am in the middle of making my dry cell and was wondering about the inlet and outlet hose tails.
I have got 1/4" (6.35mm) tails for both the in and out.
    is this ok?

    thanks for reading.

When you say 1/4"tail, I'm assuming that the tubing will be 1/4" I.D.? If so, it's way too small. I've always used 3/8" I.D. and am considering changing to 1/2".

It really depends on the output of the cell. My past builds have not put out more than 1 lpm and 1/4 ID hose was just fine. My next cell ought to put out about 2.5 lpm. I'm still going to use 1/4 hose, only because I have so much of it. The risk is too much back pressure that may cause a vapor lock. If I have problems, I'll get 3/8.
