1/16" or 1/8" Gaskets for sealed cell?

Which are better, 1/16” or 1/8” gaskets for sealed cell?

Since Shower pan liner is available at most hardware stores. Is their any downside to using it for gaskets? Heat / chemical / non conduciveness/ any other considerations for gaskets

I would use 1/16" gaskets. They allow you to stack your plates closer together whick is supposed to give you better production.

I use the shower pan liner for my dry cell and so does Painless. It seems to work fine. I have not had any problems with it but I have not used my cell as much as painless has.
