    good design?

    This is my first attempt at a generator. and I was wondering if this is a good design or not? In the generator we used stainless steel plates(6). And they are run +-+-+-. I have read a little bit and i think that this could be done a little bit better. It is about 9-10 inches in height and it is made out of 4" PVC. I started working on this so that I can hopefully afford to drive the cadillac that I want when I start driving next summer. I'm not in too muvh of a hurry but my parents would like to run these on there vehicles. Any help is much appreciated. I will post a picture of our generator.

    Looks like the one I built. Mine is a little over a foot tall, built from smacks design...but some how it wouldn't fit in the tube????


    I'm gonna try and get it in there today so I can test LPM. Give us some infor when you get it!

    3 positives and 3 negatives?

    I dont run HHO during winter.

    If you can find it CPVC works much better than plain PCV. It has a way higher working and melting temp with little cost increase. Schedule 40 PVC will melt and deform easily and without n plates you will make alot of heat and have current runaway with no PWM.

    if that is a pvc cap make sure you put an abs cap on there, my pvc cap melted,warped, and caused an explosion. Also wrap the plate in heat wrap, they will melt the pvc if they touch it.

    might want to swap that brass barb with a plastic one.

    don't know what MPG is, probly low 20s

    If you use no neutrals, make sure you use very little electrolyte. It'll have a tendency to get very hot since the current will flow easily.
