You gotta copy my Metamucil-ometer and get your hands out of that bucket of water.

Here's how to build one:

Get a couple of empty large Metamucil containers.

A 1 liter soda bottle fits perfectly inside them.

Cut the bottom off one and turn it upside down with the cover on.

Drill a hole through the center of the cover and seal a piece of 3/8 tubing through the hole.

Almost done. Make a cute mount out of wood like mine.

Take the Pepsi bottle and cut the top off.

It will work like this, but I prefer to take another Metamucil container, cut off top and bottom, cut out a "window" and mount it onto the first one.

Place a little weight on the top and it will reset a little faster.

Calibrate: Bottle sitting on your sink.

Pour in some water to a zero line.

Add 250 ml and draw a line.

Keep adding 250 ml.... to a Liter.
