HHO Alternator
I am looking to build a HHO system primarily to use to charge a set of battery banks.
I know It is often argued that is takes more energy to make energy the energy that HHO gas supplies. But I wonder if the is so when using HHO to create electic charge inorder to charge batteries and eliminate the need for a solar panels.
The principals of HHO are that it requires some form electricity to split the atoms (H2o) to get Hydrogen I just wonder is the energy from the battery required to split the atom via the hho cell is greater the than the energy produced to charge the battery.
Any thoughts

because heat will be produced...there will be no 100% efficent cell
so no it won't currently work
