    standard

I see that everybody is making his own test.
This is wonderful but we cannot compare ours results because every body is using his own "style"
I'm on the way to order new 316L plates.
    To make testes.
I would like to know what is the best size for those plates.
    I eared about 12 x 12 " (144sq")
    Do you have a standard?
    I was thinking about 5 x 25 cm.
To make it thin for car application.

I've heard of brass testes but never steel ones.
    Just kidding Stephane.

You are correct that there does not seem to be a standard. My plates are 6x6 20 gauge. Is this what you are asking?

Do you know any rules regarding plates?
Thickness x sq" to get optimum gas production?
