Great looking set-up. With 5 n plates and .080 spacing You probably will have to use a stronger electrolite solution. I have had my share of trouble getting the amp draw I want with half that spacing. When testing a 5 n plate set-up make sure you are testing with automotive voltage. 13.7 to 14 volts. I kept making the electrolite but was pulling my hair out until Painless made the suggestion to try a little higher voltage. Just 7 tenths of an amp made a huge difference.

    what would be ideal?

    Thanks in advance.
45 thousands is ideal gap 0.045 is ever so slightly heavier than 1 mm
