Is it possible to use carbon plates as electrode? Also, can a small amount of carbon dust be added to elyte solution to increase conductivity? Trying to think out of the KOH filled 316L box.

And lots of KOH (16 LBS)
Not currently running HHO.
I dont run HHO during winter.
Well, I just ran a simple test:
using about 1/4 cup of distilled water I measured the resistance >1 M
I then added about 1/4 tsp of ash from my BBQ ~150 K
then starting with clean water added a few grains of NaOH ~80 K
Conclusion: It might work, but probably not as good as NaOH or KOH.

Wouldn't the carbon in the water be a recipe for carbon monoxide?
I know some peeps swear by graphite plates.
