    Are there adapters for the fix, an older version of scangauge, or perhaps a different tool all together that will provide at least MPG?

    I agree... trying to track down one I saw just the other day that was already fabricated for $65+ and had two controllers and related heat sinks, so it's got to have appropriate capacity...

    ...and a quick search for xpress rl-5x relay will send you to the bay with bunches of them at $3.99 and one similar lot of 10 units for $20 shipped.

    We've GOT to find the best prices on proper components to fit the budget!

    Still looking for an all important scangauge type of equipment for my non OBD cavalier....any suggestions...???

    The older obd1 systems use very little input to make the engine run. There is not enough info to calculate mileage.

    If you have a laptop you can purchase the elm327 on Ebay for less than $30 from China.

    It interfaces with your vehicle and there is a lot of free software available at ScanTool.net.
