    Anyone tried bearings?

I'm wondering has anyone has tried stainless steel bearings for the anode?

All conductive metals will work inside the electrolyzer. It's just a matter of how well they with work, the cost and ease of fabrication.

SS ball bearings should work ok but they are not so easy to attach to. Also a common goal in building an electrolyzer is getting as much active surface area in the smallest space. I don't think ball bearings do that well.

You can't be serious. If you are, please elaborate on your thoughts as to why you would consider using ball bearings as electrodes.
