    o2 sensor modification

    How about this idea. If a guy were to paint or coat part of the o2 sensor and reduce the surface area that is exposed to gases would it register kind of like a o2 sensor extender? Of course it would have to be high temp paint or something like that. Do you guys think it would help or hinder?

    O2 sensor

    I dont think painting the sensor would be good for you or the car in the long run. If you paint the O2 sensor the car will most likely think that its faulty and you will throw a CEL and you will have to go out and buy another O2 sensor and they can get pricey depending on your vehicle. Look around on the forums, i dont think there are many people that have had any success using O2 extenders for performance gains. Save up and buy an EFIE. It will save you alot of time and agrevation in the end.
