    timing on aspirated car.

I run a high lift cam on an older car with a webber and CD ignition. The distributor is mechanical w/o vacuum advance/retard.

the timing is 10 BTDC at idle.

with a HHO @ 2L/m on 4.6 L engine what should the timing be adjusted to compensate for the HHO

retard 2? 3? or 4 degrees from current setting? I mean with HHO don't need the same advance - right?

I'd start with 4 and go up from there, retard more. See how she runs and check exhaust temp.
