    How about Gatorade??? On the label I believe it says it is an electrolyte.

    How about beer? Just kidding.

    I have 5 lbs. of citric acid. Might have to give it a try. Without some way to measure pH and current draw it would be hard to tell if the citric acid has "staying power".

    I am wondering about residue in the generator.. I know that Kool-aid is a pain in the back side when it spills and dries on the countertop. I dont know about using it in the generator....Citric acids seem like a cool alternative to experiment with because its by far more environmentaly friendly ad safer to work with.
