How hot should the cell and electrolyte be getting? as I'm measuring about 26 °C (78F) on the cell surface and 36°C ( 98F) in the electrolyte.
From what I've read elsewhere this should be up in the 50°C mark?

thats sounds perfect if its producing good. the cooler it stays the less water vapor and expanded gas you have and youll get a more exact reading when you messure your output.
The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
