    Reservoir Bottle

    Hello Guys new here.

I am intended to place a reservoir Bottle in my 1999 Ford Expedition for the HHO system that I am planning to build. The reserve bottle will be placed over the bubblers and I have a doubt: the outgoing connection of the reserve bottle will be better to placed over the top with a syphon or in the botton?.

    Thank you folks

I'd do it from the bottom so you don't have any worries about an air lock or having to get caustic chemicals flowing in a siphon.

Obviously the problem, if placed above the bubbler, is to make sure the bubbler does not overfill.

Simplest is to have the reservoir at the same level as the bubbler in such a way that effectively you are just increasing the available electrolyte volume / bubbler tank size.

Remember that under breaking etc, the bubbler electrolyte could be forced into the HHO gas outlet pipe and into the engine - so be sure to make sure you cater for this possibility.

And bear in mind that KOH breaks down polycarbonate containers – I use polyethelyne.
