Just look around Ebay. I get mine in 10lb quantities for around $50. Make sure it's KOH Flake! Be sure to buy more
than you think you need. Trust me, once you start playing, you gonna kick yourself in the a$$ when you run out & have to wait a week for another shipment to get to your mailbox

$44.24 for 10 lbs.. This includes shipping. I keep using him 'cuz he ships quickly
and I believe he's the cheapest.

I think with some looking you all could find KOH for less. I buy 50lb bags locally from a chemical supplier. The last one cost me $95.00,

    Ok, thanks
One last question- what is the right concentration of KOH in a gallon of water to achive full conductivity? Do you measure it in teaspoons, tablespoons, pounds...?

Really Larry. With all the experiments you've got going on there, how long does 50lbs. last? A week?

BeaverRat: Measure by weight. 28% is optimum, 2.5 lbs. per gal..

Last time I bought 2 50lb bags. The teller thought I was nuts.

Thanks, but I wasn't sure if it was 28% or 20% for KOH...

    Larry,
You're lucky you can just go to a local store and buy it. I have to go to
    HHO-R-US or HYDROXY-MART for mine
