Thanks! It's my avatar on all the forums I'm a member of. I don't even remember where I found an EGA that spun. I had to have it, though!
I was a SMAW gunner when I was in. I've been out 10 years now....seems like yesterday.

I hear ya....Time flies & the Corps never leaves you. I was a Radio Operator
from '74-'77. Sometimes I can still feel the damned PRC-25 on my back. Back then they were heavy suckers!
1998 Explorer 4x4, 4.0
14 cell / 2 stack 6x9" drycell reactor 28%KOH dual EFIE, MAF enhancer, IAT & ECT controllers, 2.4 LPM @ 30 amps. 6.35 MMW http://reduceyourfuelbill.com.au/forum/index.php
They were still using those dinosaurs when I got out! All that radio was was a priority target for the enemy! Comm sure has come a long way!
Thanks - got something to aim for now.
Had a reply back from one supplier who produce a dry cell as follows:-
From what I know so far, this cell is not that efficient. Our system produces slightly less than a liter of gas a minute at 12 amps
and will have a beneficial effect at between 8 and 12 amps, you can
experiment at first with 8 then if you find you are only getting say 20%
better fuel mileage, put more koh in and bring the amps up to 10 amps. You
will probably find this is enough and any more hho gas after this point has
little benefit. Much more hho than this can have a quenching effect on the
combustion flame front.
This level of hho production is within the engines working range from tick
over to full power, you should feel as if the engine is running very
smoothly and has more low down torque, it's subtle but it is noticeable, if
you allow the unit to run out of water the engine feels a bit breathless and
lower on torque. I have people who have said that they would fit this cell
just for the engine feel even if there was no fuel economy benefits.
Your emissions will be very low and an engine like yours should save 25% to
35% on fuel and around two tons of carbon per annum.
