Yes, that is true. But remember, when you blow with your mouth, you are trying to push a high volume thru it -- bunches of lpm. If you blow very gently, there is very little resistance.

Even with 6 lpm coming out of a 1/4" hose, you can hardly feel the flow.

1 dry cells with nineteen 6"x8" 316L ss plates, driven by constant current PWM set at 35 amps (13.3V at PWM). 28% KOH electrolyte. Total measured output 2.5 lpm. Mileage went from 18 to 26 mpg, all city driving (44% increase). EFIE set at .370 and I still need to play with ignition timing.

Has anyone taken one of these bad boys apart to see what's in it?

I have two of them in-line and like you I can barely blow air through and yet I still get a great flame from my torch. You can bag on these arrestors all you want but you are going to have this problem no matter which one's you use. I would be concentrating on fixing leaks if I were you.

Apparently not, since no one has posted what's in it. ...and as a wise person once told me... if you don't write it down, it never happened.

Ok, how about a big slice of humble pie for me! Ok, I must admit I did look, but apparently not as diligently as I should have. You are correct, the info is out there. I just didn't dig deep enough.
    Thanks for the info!
