    First Time Help

    HI, I just built my first HHO Cell. How do I hook up my multimeter to see how many amps i drawing. Cant figure it out, always read Zero.

    Power Source -> Ammeter -> Cell -> return to power source

    There could be a couple of reasons why it's reading zero;

    1/ You multimeter only does 10A and you've cooked it.

    2/ You're not connecting it correctly.

    It should be in series with the cell, ie; connected to the power source (battery or PSU) and the cell, so that ALL of the current that goes through the cell goes through the meter.

    Think of it like a hose, with current being the amount of water flowing, and voltage being the pressure that it needs, to overcome any resistance (wires, plates, electrolyte, internal battery resistance etc) at this current. This analogy holds true for quite a few different electrical situations, and it's more simple to visualise.

    Good luck with this one!

    Cheers,
    Martin.

    Cool Tanks for the quick replay. This whole HHO gas thing is so cool. Why is this not everywhere
