Muck in the Electrolyte!

I looked in my reservoir today and I saw what I could only describe as black dirt crud floating in the Elyte mix

Vincent LaGuardia Gambini would ask:



"And what is this rusty, dusty, dirty looking thing that's floatin' in da bottle?"

Anybody have a clue?
Would you say dis is a normal process of a dry cell
OR
is it, in reality, the Electralyte disintegratin' my circalatin' pump's impella?
