does HHO have to escape vertically

Ok, I wanted to try a tube design with sealed cells that escape to the sides and then can float up. but that wuold put the plates stacked on top of one another in the tup like pancakes. So bubbles would have to scoot out the sides to go up. Is that a problem, or do plates have to be horizontal like dominos. Make sense? What thinketh though, learned ones thanks-Jacob

    Jacob,
This is an old design. I know it's called a 'randy-cell' over at the Hydroxy Hut. Not very efficient. Another variation of this is the 'flip-cup' design. You can find this on YouTube.
