    nickel plated

    has anyone tried plating SS plates with Nickel? either electro or electroless? Nickel200 plates are cost prohibitive,around $680 for 11 7x8 plates.

    All plating will come off in electrolysis so try to get a thinner gage nickel 200 plate, so it will be cheaper.
