    Changing Ignition Timing ?

I don't no much about Tuning Shops.

I have heard conflicting reports on weather they can really change a car's ignition timing. (not valve timing)

Does anyone know if they can really change ignition timing on modern cars, Or really more importantly change the rate of advance of the ignition timing?

Roland a good question but to best of my knowledge they can not without re-flashing the ecu or adding something like an Apexi controller or some other controller. All not legal in California.

It is a violation of some EPA regulation so is not legal in every state but not enforced in most. I thought nothing was illegal until you were caught and who is going to check the programing on your van?? LOL
