HHO relay to starter selenoid ?

Hi,

My HHO wiring diagram shows connecting the HHO relay to the selenoid starter. is it really important to connect the relay to the starter selenoid?
My starter is not easily accessible to me and I plan to connect directly to the battery.

No, it's not necessary- but some vehicles still have a solenoid under the hood and it is a handy place to connect to. Connecting to the battery is fine also, especially if you go to NAPA or AutoZone and get one of those battery terminal extension bolts that replaces the stock bolt and nut used to tighten the terminal onto the battery post. It gives you an "accessory" stud to put another connection on, very handy...
