    vw t5 transporter 1.9 tdi

    iffy required or not? i'm told that the t5 has no o2 sensors so the engine management should'nt try to richen the mix.... is that correct?

    If you have electronic fuel injection you will have at least a MAF sensor. You might not have an O2 unless your car is newer and a California car which I do not think they imported that van with that engine into California. You might not need an EFIE but you might be able to get some larger gains with a MAF controller if you do not have an O2 sensor. I am not familiar with that TDI. What year is it and I will try and find out what it really has. You actually need to try and lean it just a bid and that can be done with the MAF sensor controller. What kind of mileage do you get now?
