How well do the multi cell designs work?? like the ones without neutral plates? How much electrolyte do they use and what temps and amps do they run???

Personally I think they work very well. They require more electrolyte to achieve the same amperage as a standard +- design, but they run cooler. I believe gas production is about equal.
2006 Ram, 5.9 cummins HO. 4 cell design, 1.5 LPM@30amp, 24.3 MPG
So they run cooler...... so why dont most people do that design???
What about using neutral plates in that design?
instead of +-+-+-+-+-+
do this
+N-N+N-N+N-N+
Space issues can be big. I have to put in a cold air intake just to fit 1 hho generator!
Also, temperature can make all the difference. Temperature alone can be worth having several generators.
speaking of temps... what are you guys running? I did a 3 hr long test and was under 15 amps and it got up to 170F....
