Old dishwasher SS. Can it be used?

I replaced my old dishwasher this weekend. I am curious about the SS it contains. The door and all the interior are SS. I have no clue about its grade or gage although I am sure it is not 18. Is this worth slicing and dicing into plates, or is it better left for scrap?

I doubt it is 316L but that does not mean you can not uses it. You will just have a much longer conditioning process and should never drive it over .25 amps per active area on one side of one plate.

ONE Liter per minute per 10 amps which just isn't possible Ha Ha .
