let me know what you think (cell)

i was wanting to know what people think of this cell i have. here are some pics and a video.
4" abs, its about 6" tall. supposedly it will do 2 lpm at 15 amps w/KoH and distilled water
This cell has 4 pos+ and 4 neg- and 4 nuteral plates, HHO hydrogen fuel cell (12)2"x3" 304 stainless steel plates 16 gauge. i'm guessing it goes +n-+n-+n-+n-

here is a video of it running (1/2 teaspoon baking soda, per quart of distilled water)

LmK the temp of the cell under the hood after an hour or so?

Also how much elec it's using?

Pull that hose up out of the water, so that it's just below the surface, and you should see more bubbles. Having the hose deep in the water causes a good amount of undue backpressure that the cell has to overcome.

shortstack..you have an interesting plate config. I especially like the production rate, it looks to be as steady as a drum...Please post temp and electric measurements if you can. My experiments yeald a very eratic flow of bubbles and would love to have a "drum beat" like what yor getting...Also are you using a PWM at all?

thanks for the info, i'll be sure to cu the hose shorter, im waiting to get the amp meter to see what its pulling. im kinda thinking about getting the PWM, but not sure if it worth it.

    Wink

All the overlapping areas are wasted plate areas which will not produce anything.

From you photos I believe that 40% is wasted SS plate.

    Look at the Smack cell.

The plates are in alignment for a reason.

    Don't "Shortstack" yourself.

Redo your plates after you measure the present LPM and you will seee a significant improvement.

its been blowing fuses pretty quickly, trying to play with the mixture butstill not quite working, it works fine with just ignition on but when i start the car the fuse blows within 3 or 4 minutes of it running. i did 1/8 lye per quart of distilled. i mean i guess i could lower it more but dang! more info would really help, i was thinking about putting 3 more nutral plates so it would go like this +n-n+n-n+n-n+n- where as right now its +n-+n-+n-+n-.

i e-mailed the guy again and asked what size container he used, cause i'm using the same electrolyte mixture and im popping a fuse within 4 minutes
