upgrading alternator

has anyone done it yet. i can upgrade my alt. from 130amps to 200amp and im told that my 97 expedition really only uses about 70 amps of power. im curious is it possible with this can i run my 5.4 liter engine on complete hho with some type of drycell set up and what would i need.

With a 200 amp alternator you would leave yourself room for 4 additional liters per minute at 15 amps per liter. Make sure you run the recommended size of wire to your new alternator so that you can take advantage of the new power. Unfortunately you won't be able to make enough gas to run on hho alone from what I know is possible.
